I don't think ascend willbe looking at Ciena, but there is some very interesting CIEn and TLAB news on stockholder.com

I agree ASND is a likely suitor. Some have suggested CSCO, but CSCO likes to buy small, private startups. How about LU, sometime in October?

Ascend, timing like they got Cascade.
