I am pleased to see INVX holding up, but I'm surprised it hasn't been able to go up more from here. I think we are at a bottom, and it wouldn't take much to see a rise to 12 1/2 and still be cheap.

Reason why I'm calling a bottom is the mention of improved PC sales, improved disk drive sales and even Hutchinson is saying suspension sales are up. These comments come from many sources such as Intel. I think it's real and the history of improving sales going into the next 2 quarters will hold this up.

I was attended the Quantum Annual meeting on Tuesday. A lot was said which indicates sales and inventory are falling in place for sequential increases for the next 2 quarters. I reported my notes and impressions from the meeting on the Disk Drive Discussion Forum.

I can't say that anything I heard was specifically positive to INVX. Last year I had a chance to speak with Quantum decision makers about their plans for interconnects. At that time, they said they were favoring trace connections supplied by Hutchinson and NHK. This has proven true as Quantum now takes the majority of Hutch's TSA supply.

Regardless, all these companies are not able to get supply of TSA and they have not been announcing new programs actually going into volume. The majority of connection sales are still going to Innovex and this will be true for some time. I did ask about Quantum's plans to move to GMR and they see introduction about 1 year away.

I predict Innovex is a coiled spring. Should we get any notice of a new customer going to HIF, or some reports of success with pre-bonding the suspension we could easily shoot to $15. I think this is a good bet.

****Well, I started this an hour ago and then got a phone call. During that time, the price has done very well. Any news?

Regards,

Mark
