Mark, we are going down because of CIEN and TLAB. Well TLAB is looking for another partner or buyout candidate.
Tellabs, meanwhile, needed Ciena's products, which increase the capacity of fiber optic networks, to break into some of the faster growing segments of the telecom equipment market, analysts said.

Tellabs said in a prepared statement the decision the end the Ciena deal ''does not change our interest in optical-networking technology and markets as part of our long-term strategy.''

One trader said Tellabs' statement on the optical networking technology could mean that the company would consider a partnership or merger with a different equipment manufacturer who specialized in that area.

Tellabs could not be immediately reached for comment.

You know groups always move together, its like a herd of cattle, and the weakest one always get slaughtered first.
