Off Topic:

On August 1 in post #1626, I expressed my concern about the near term direction of the market. I stated I expected a 15-20% correction and I was moving to a defensive position with a bear market fund. I only wish I had this crystal ball on other occasions.(:>)

Well we all know what has happened in the interim. With that said, as of Monday, I've added to my position in AORI(look at the volume today)and yesterday I closed out my position in the Prudent Bear fund(a nice 21% profit since the first of August, and why Filin your caustic words are like water on a ducks back). What brought this change on is what I see in the current market. I don't see the 9000 on the DJIA in the near term, but I do see a gradual return to a more bullish tone in the market. We still have October ahead and what probably will be an unusually heavy selling in some of the small-caps for tax-loss purposes, but overall I see good times ahead.

As for PM, as stated on August 1, I think it held up well during this major market downturn and I would like to think we will be pleased with the quarterly report coming up in a few weeks(late October).

As always, these are just MO's.
