In two terms, [Clinton] has managed to turn the greatest nation on earth into a laughing stock across the world.

Come again?

Here's something a little closer to on-topic, and a little better moored to reality, from this morning's Briefing:

The day got off to a good start, and has gotten even better...overseas markets were up, with European stock exchanges up 2% to 4% ahead of the U.S. open...that, along with the perception that Clinton's political problems have eased, led to strong across the board gains at the open...

Bullshit Jeff. Those two cases are completely different.

I agree completely. Reagan's secret selling of arms to Iran was a high crime against the Republic, and he should have been impeached. Clinton's immature womanizing and lying about it is an embarassment, and he has been publically censured for it. But it pale's compared to Reagan's administration setting up a secret government to try to circumvent the decisions of the congress.
