Based on your stair step and resistance numbers coupled with flag formations, it would seem that we are at or close to the highs today, if one expects the above to hold!

Note: Clinton is giving a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations regarding the world economy as I type.

What impact will it have if any?

IMO SPX 1038 is enough, considering it was reached this early, maybe the lower '40s that would be in line with the two previous local highs.
