Tellabs is coming out with a earnings warning. I still don't have details. Other sfe companies doing ok today, but net asset value difference is very dangerous when it gets to these levels. Sfe seems to being bought because of its investments in small caps in my opinion. Maybe it is a leading indicator of what to expect with its small cap companies it owns. Only problem is that the large caps make up an awful lot of its net asset value.
Good luck to all,
Robert D.

David,

I'll look to you, then, for advice on what to do with the Qwest shares from the Icon deal. I hadn't followed them, but I just requested the IR info from them.

I'll post the NAV at the end of today. The premium should be lofty.

Nowb is the time to sell SFE. No way this premiuim holds. Either there must be a comeback in the NAV, or it'll be down within a week.

Either way, nothing explains this gap. With TLABs (the new third leg of the big three) getting hammered and no relief in sight, I'm at a loss to explain SFE's gains today. The only thing I can say is that CMPC, CATP and TLAB may have bottomed out.
