Novell and Drew Major Get Set for a Comeback

By JOHN MARKOFF - NYT

nyt.com

A lot of MSFT talk in it. Today was NOVL's official launch of NetWare 5. But of course you all are not concerned or interested in what MSFT's major OS competitor is up to - right?

BTW - expect to hear a lot about NOVL and NetWare ove the coming 1-2 weeks since NOVL invited 100+ media to the SanFrancisco event with fellow keynotes Compaq, Intel, Dell, Oracle and official NetWare and Novell oriented press releases from about 50+ OEMs and vendors.

DJ8000,

They have a monopoly, right? How about a $1T market cap in 5 years? Just think about how far MSFT/CSCO/AOL/DELL have come in the last 5 years...

The man running the company has personal stock worth more than almost every other company on earth. I doubt they fall quickly or quietly. You'll get a nice return over time, beter than the overall market, barring disaster. I don't see one.

Buy and forget.

Regards,

G
