jach, no question that the CSCO partnership with CIEN is good for both companies. But there is simply no need for CSCO to buy this company at an inflated price. CSCO is better served by working with all DWDM equipment than just CIEN.

Perhaps CSCO would try to "steal" the company at $15-18, but Nettles won't sell that cheap, and he's wrong about this in my opinion). His shareholders would be better served trading in their shares for CSCO. A CSCO sales force selling CIEN equipment is something Nettles can never achieve this by remaining independent.
