Steve..there are two big dogs....and unforunately people confuse them.......uhh...one wouldnt want to be confused with the other I think...

I have been noticing this prem thing on quote.com the last couple of days...purely subjective guess...their quote feed switches (dont know if it is on purpose..I suspect accidentally) between Sept contract..as it still exists...and the dec contract..which is the current contract...

and the big 24 you would see is because of the gain in globex etc....before the cash opened

the negative 10 day you saw was probably the day the futures sold off after the cash close...normally you are not going to see dec futures that negative to the cash unless the cash is closed...
