First you said we are in control than you say we must obey his commandments. So what is it are we in control or is God in control. Also what are the Commandments..................... Alan - They arne't mutually exclusive. To be in control does not imply that we must obey his commands. To be in control means you have a choice of your ultimate fate. You choose whether or not you will enter Paradise. We are in control in the sense that we have the freedom to choose but God is in control in the sense that He will ultimately determine whether or not we chose to follow his "commandments." By "commandments" I mean the laws he laid down for us. Muslims believe these laws are spelled out in the Bible but so are superfolous info and additions made by men. So we use the Qur'an, a book that God has promised us will never be changed from its present form. Peace be unto You, Norris
