In addition to your comments people should recall that it was Clinton's parsing of terminology and tenses that made the explicit details absolutely necessary. If Bill Clinton is embarassed or politically harmed by these details then he has only himself and his fat lawyer to blame. In fact, had Bennett not attacked Tripp re: the Willey matter this whole thing might never have been.

This leads me to believe in the essential quality of truth - that it proceeds, slowly but surely light will reach every corner.

This man is unbelievable in his arrogance and gall. That anyone could view him otherwise is a mystery to me.
