Rick - you're confused - Starr didn't release the report. The House voted to do so.

You're right; I stand corrected. My intent was to refer to the inclusion of the details in his report. That's what I get for watching a Level II screen while posting on SI.

I suppose the only real alternative Starr had would be to submit a bare-bones (i.e., G-rated) report, wait for the outcry that "there are no details!", then submit the full report. But it's not like we haven't been warned about what might have been in there. We had lawyers and Clinton trying to define "sexual relations," we had stains on a dress, we had Monica's 37 visits to the White House... it didn't take too many brains to see where it was all going.

Anyone seen a Clinton air-conditioner yet?
