Media's gonna start picking up on this VERY soon. It's a DIFFERENT ballgame when a "media insider - former UPI CEO" ... starts disseminating information. (This is THE site you want bookmarked. This is where media will be getting information.)

All of you who have been thinking about "contingency planning" --- better start actually doing it now!!!

Some bulk food deliveries are now taking 9 months! Many are now going direct to bulk food companies ... with their own trucks ... to ensure delivery.

I stopped "researching" Y2K 2 months ago and have started contingency planning. Have been researching Y2K for over 3 years. Initially thought it was an investment opportunity and problem would get fixed. Deeper I got into it, the worse it becomes. Problem will NOT get fixed in time. (My "contacts" are within the government and specific industries.)

My Houston home is up for sale. Am moving to Pacific NW. I'm "downsizing." Designer dresses are at consignment shop. Looking forward to denim ... and more simple life. I've spent the past year re-assessing values and determining what is REALLY important to me. Push comes to shove. It's NOT material things ... but, still hard to give up! It's family and friends.

I could care less if some want to challenge and/or denegrate me because of my beliefs. Most who have, have done a minimal amount of research and have a very narrow perspective ... and closed minds.

We all make our own choices. I'm comfortable with mine.

For those of you who are "on the fence" ... start preparing! By the time it becomes a "media event", you'll be in competition with many others for the SAME things everyone will need.

Perception of problems (whether actualized or not) will create shortages and price increases.
