Stan I am not a Greek scholar so not sure about meaning of hate as given in that scripture. As to my family of different beliefs I do not hate them and never will. I will never abandon them for anyone or any knowledge of God. Yes I despise their belief. Yes I attempt to show them how the bible is not what they think. My son-in-law is a church of Christ preacher and I despise what he does. I do not despise him for he is a good person. We have discussed scriptures til the wee small hours many times. He has a closed mind and a million spins to make the bible say what he believes. Out of context is his favorite spin. Leading the discussion away from the verse in question is his second. You didn't see Steve fly right back with answers to my three questions this AM did you? Can you tell me one thing different in Christianity and Mithraism except the name of the savior? Did you know both were a repetition of the HORUS myth? Have you ever really done any research on the bible or Josephus or the other few used as authority for a historical Jesus?
