My personal opinion is that we'll be in a range for a while bounded by 39 on the upside. There was also the Business Week article about the bad iMac experience and of course Intel cutting prices of all it's processors (400 Mhz cut 18%) doesn't help as well as positive reviews of the new portable PCs including the fact the Intel managed thru manufacturing refinements to actually lower the power consumption slightly. As Andrew has shown Apple is now trading basically in line with other PC makers. I'm sure options expiration has some effect and we had the low volume. I don't think the performance today or last Friday is particularly significant. Still out waiting for a chance to trade back in. Rich

perhaps it is simply the MMs trying to pin AAPL under a strike price during options expiration week,

mhh.. IMHO the drop seems too concentrated and too early in the week for options.

My best guess is still that today's mild drop was on some minor bad news such as Intel price cuts....

What were the supposed major news from macosrumors?
