Alan..... SI Bobs actions had less to do with on/off topic matters as it had to do with ECs totally deplorable and obnoxious racial and ethnic slurrs.....totally uncalled for in this forum or any other forum...we are all just equal scribes, nothing more, nothing less...... opinion givers.......his crap belongs in the alley or in a dark corner in a dark place.

Well, you shouldn't complain - you got the best line out of the whole deal;
"I resent your racist attack of all non germanes." #reply-5736775

Non-Germanes Arise!! You have nothing to lose but your irrelevancy! -g-

Really, you can't go far around SI and not run into at least cigar jokes - here's one posted to the only SI racist I know of #reply-5740615 .... you know, in M‚xico to bring this sort of thing up against Zedillo would be seen as a faux pas, as completely irrelevant to his ability to preside over the government .... but the fact is that the US is an entirely different culture, and it is possible that the world's leading economy could undergo a change of 'head' of state -g- ... So, it is relevant and may very well affect the price of gold, but on the other hand too much of it is boring, imho.

'Clinton scandal could help Republicans for years' biz.yahoo.com

'Exploration cuts may impact output' biz.yahoo.com

This is Yahoo's currency news url, I've found it hard to find on their page so I've bookmarked it; biz.yahoo.com - lots of good stuff .... I think we've seen the peak for the S&P this week, if not we'll see it in the morning ... same for the US$ .... Gold? - man oh man, I wish I knew -g- ....... cheers, all ...... marcos
