David, re the 5 day trin, we didn't get to 4.0 the other day, but we are definitely there now. Barron's, BTW, published a bad figure for last Friday, showing .30 instead of .47. In any case, using .77 for today, I have us now at 3.86.

Not that I expect anything to make sense now. Volume had been declining during this rally, but picked back up some today. The internuts, for no apparent reason, rocketed up 10%+ each on heavy volume. But, the bond market, which had been moving opposite stocks lately, also rallied nicely after G-span talked about deflation.

Is any of this movement making sense to you wavers?
