Kash,

I think he had a target of $80 when the price was $40.

Kash - Re: " If they can ship sharptooth early Q1 at 400Mhz speeds this will really hurt Intel."

Get serious !

Sharptooth was supposed to be shipped in late Q398 or Q498, so AMD is at least a full quarter behind schedule.

Especially since Sanders said at the Conference Call in July that Sharptooth was "running in the lab". I guess he meant it was "running into testing problems " !

Intel has been shipping Mendocino for almost two months (with the formal launch on August 24) and Intel's Dixon, the "equivalent" to Sharptooth with 356K L2 cache on the CPU silicon, has been functional for over two months and is already in pre-production.
