Well Frank, it looks like you have confirmation.
> It looks like this thread has come to an end.

I'm very new to Castle and still haven't put much money there yet, so I can't comment on much of Castle like some of their other clients.

With the little cash I have in the account, I've been mostly playing low priced Nasdaq stocks via Island. During the heavy volume days, I was in and out of ISLD in a flash.

As far as I know, there's no way to post orders for the next trading day. And I haven't traded NYSE yet, but it's supposed to be SuperDot.

Sorry, but haven't used Track Data much either. I use DBC's StockEdge for now (bought a year up front before I signed on with Castle and they started offering Track for free w/L2). But I can say that the Castle NQMS L2 data feed is much faster than DBC's for heavy volume stocks.

Marc

General Answer to your questions:

No this thread has not come to an end. I check it occasionally. Most Castle users don't hang out here cause there is no need to hang out. Get my drift? Nothing to really complain about.

Castle has performed well during the volume days. The Java Trader is stable. The servers on the kill keys occasionaly have to be reset. I personally run 1 java key for trade maintance. It makes it nice if you have an order sent out, and the Key fails, you can use the Java Trader to cancel the order.

I have not traded NYSE. I think it is SuperDot execution. NYSE trades are always going to be slower than Nasdaq.

It is not possible to place orders for the next day. You can, however, trade before the market opens and after it closes using selectnet, that is if there are other traders wanting to trade during those times.

I've used the TRAC Data service. I tried it out just to see what it was all about. My opinion is that it is mediocre. Its just the bottom version so it only offers one stock watch screen. The news is mixed up with all the news from the Futures markets. The program I actually use is a sophisticated software that costs like $800 and
is fed by BMI cable data.

My general opinion: I like the Kill Key Software. It is clean and very efficient in entering trades. Castle's Level II screen is a winner. The Level II screen on the Java Trader is not as bright and less appealing in the way it refreshes. The Java Trader has been a very nice addition for keeping track of trades, orders, and buying power.
