<<Puff... No offense but anyone who reads ANY of your posts can see you are a short of EVERYTHING. Congrats on the short term gains. Be careful. By the way did you read the Dow Jones News wire about 3-4 pm est. ?? It was saying that traders of equity options are worried about a "huge" short squeeze. I wish you luck. Oh by the way. Um did you happen to hear Clinton or Rubin today? >> Who cares what Clinton said? He's a powerless lame duck. Who cares what the traders of equity options said? They're crooks who just want you to buy calls so they can take your money. Once again this market failed to break resistance at 8000+. Did YOU see the WEAK close? Did you see the Bovespa fail to break the 6000 level? Did YOU see that Hilary Clinton is the next person to be indicted by Kenneth Star? Did YOU see that China will be the next economy that is attacked? I am short and have been short of everything. I am in and out, in and out, because I like to trade -- it's the most profitable thing to do in these volatile markets. But as I have maintained continually, and continue to do so, this is an overall bear market. Brazil ain't getting any of our capital or the world's capital anytime soon -- it will go to bonds. I have shorted Brazil (TBR) since the day Russia devalued ($90's). I thought about shorting all the way back in July (120's), when the tremendous debt of Brazil and their currency peg were pointed out in The Economist (best damn magazine ever published). I will continue to short until $36, I will cover at $62 (and reshort in the 70's), or when there is a basing pattern (unlikely given current conditions). You should not be congratulating me. These markets is a zero-sum game. If I short and you buy and you make money, I hate you. If the reverse, then you hate me. I'll come back when TBR hits $46-48 again sometime this week. Until then, adieu.
