Yeah, I know. The greenmailers of the 80's were doing it to make the American corporation more effective, right? That is why they raised money from clueless S&L, threatened takeover of stodgy companies, saddled the target with debt, cut employee pension benefits, sell off assets, fire long term employees. .... and retire as millionaires. Ain't the free market great?
