I want to say up front that I firmly believe we have turned the corner on sentiment for JMAR. The stock is more likely to rise in the short term rather than fall. And for good, solid reasons.

I am about to say something blasphemous here, but I want everyone to focus on what is REALLY important for JMAR and not on unrealistic false hopes. Because, JMAR has a ton going for it when you look at them realistically with impending JSI work and on-going PPL disk-head tools and the Bright Lite micromachining tools soon to be a big hit.

First off, nobody should ever consider the Light Knife. It is dead, buried, gone, and did not cost JMAR anything! Forget it, stop hoping for it.

Second (take a deep breath now!), we should all stop hoping on X-RAY lithography anytime soon. Maybe 5 years minimum, most likely much longer. Cymer produces DUV light sources, which is the precursor to JMAR's X-RAY. Investors know that Cymer is the dominant supplier of DUV light source. However, the stock has plummeted below $10 because the industry is just not ready for their advanced tools (damn asian flu!). 243-mm light sources are still being stretched to their limit. 193-mm light sources (Cymer DUV) is being pushed off. The industry just doesn't want to make that jump yet when it can extend the life of their current tools inexpensively.

With the asian flu slowing down the relentless march for better and more sophisticated light sources, we should not expect JMAR's X-RAY light source to contribute to the bottom line any time soon. So let's not all get bent out of shape when reality sets in next year and X-Ray is still not happening.

Like I said earlier, with their current business, and the incredible spin-off technology that comes from their X-Ray R&D (let's not forget the $13 mill the government just kicked in), we should all concentrate on their real and growing business that will propel earnings and a much higher stock price. I agree with Bowser when they state that if you can own JMAR for under $3, you can fund your retirement in 10 years. And I say this all can happen without ever selling one X-Ray lithography tool!

RE: Bowser--Lately, a Bowser #1 pick means if you can wait, the price will get cut in half. His recent record is so bad, a mutual fund owning monkey has done better, % wise.
That said, I would buy Jmar again, at a lower price. They do have potential, but, micro-caps are out of the current rotation.
