There are two things to conclude about Whitewater. 1. Starr has nothing substantial and credible to report to Congress on Clinton. Therefore, this is a waste of a report. 2. He is not going to indict anyone else on Whitewater. The only other possible person to indict is Hillary, and he would be crazy to do that. Hillary is the cuckolded wife. Starr will have to treat her with kid gloves if he is going to have any hope of getting Clinton. FOBs right now are in pretty good shape. As long as Bill has impeachment charges hanging over him, Starr is going to have to back off. If it appears that he is indicting friends in order to strongarm them to turn on Bill, he will look spiteful (see his experience with Susan McDougal). In the classic food chain prosecution you start with the little fish and end up with the big one. You never go after the little fish AFTER the big fish.

We only have a couple more years of Starr--then he and his gang may have to go out and find a real job---its running about $10M a year for expenses , so whats another $20M---total bill about $70M---A Joan Collins novel would
have been cheaper

Does anyone know how big Starr's staff is (no pun intended)
