Rand, the tests were to prove the correlation of metals recovered to the mobile ion and magnetic mapping. See my comments to Larry about additional objectives. Since Maxam is directly moving to the drill program it suggests to me that the test was successful in showing the correlation expected. Review the technical section on the Maxam for more background on the technology issues. The presentations you saw on the AGM tape should also help understanding the technology breakthroughs that will significantly maxamize resource development for minimal cost. Bring the BLM during this proving process is an excellent strategy. Maxam needs to prove the metals to technology methodology relationships to be believed by the BLM and anyone else. It's possible that some day low cost mapping will accomplish what only high cost extensive drilling could prove today.

Rand,

What I find interesting is there is no comparison of leach to fire assay. I believe that the BLM is going to look for fire assay for actual reserves. Also of note is the "scanning electron microsope" This has nothing to do with leach tests. I t can be used to indentify gold in some samples but I don't believe it can give a quantiative analyis. With both resin and carbon, the final product is fired and the recovered metal measured. The gold and silver would have been alloyed, which would have required further procedures to quantify both. This companies PRs are reading like Bill Clinton's attorneys might have prepared them. VBG

Rand,

I also understand that Rick Nicols who fired up the AGM on behalf of Kilborn is no longer with them. The big question is, "Is Kilborn still with Maxam?"
