Hi Lee,

Obviously the innocent should be driven before you - otherwise how would you tell what is waiting at the end of the alleyway.
As far as OTC:BB stocks... are they not populated by Morons?.. were not the Morons driven from the caves and guano and told to root in the cellar of stocks by the Shamans (spiritual crooks in this instance).. and all their talk is just a matter of keeping the family legend going.. sort of hoping against hope to be able to distinguish between Hatfields (them) and McCoys (us).

Off Topic (I may not insult anyone here, but then again I might).
Lee, we were all innocent and ignorant at one time. I spent a long time studying the market and then paper trading before I got in. Then I used what I had learned and continued to do so.
The problem I have had is, I hate to see the innocent get reamed by these hyping creeps. So as you know I have scrapped (as you have) with them a few times. Usually I try to use market knowledge as a weapon against hypsters and avoid personal attacks. I have made exceptions though.
There is a special feeling you get when you are dealing with one of the creeps and an obvious innocent comes up and tears you a new one because you aren't supporting the piece of trash they are in with their children's college funds. Somehow it makes shorting all worth while.
All the Best
Druss

The Unintended Show
or
Joining in the Fun

Many of you are aware of the Little Men of RMIL, many are not. They are a peculiar breed. Imagine if you will...

An old dining room table stood on it's side, the occasional head could be seen popping partially up, but the table blocked the activity behind quite well. It served as the front of a stage, for puppets.

The puppets were all quite similar, made out of old gray socks, straw was added for body.

The sock puppets each wore a hat made out of tin foil and the stage was quite crowded with them. It was obvious that several players were making several puppets work, but no details were clear. There was a reason for this.

Many attempts had been made so far to squash the Little Men, none have been successful.
This is accomplished by co-opting any real people. The idea is to get you into the puppet show and pretty soon, no matter what you say, you begin to look like a Little Man.

There is no winning with a Little Man, especially if they have the little foil hats firmly in place. Good posters and their influence are lost through the artifice of making them part of the puppet show. The Little Men really don't care, they are out to get your money. They lie, they pretend, they say anything required. The audacity of the Little Men is, well, audacious to say the least. Listen to this typical dialogue.
Here is s. martin, who may know more about the Little Men than anyone else, mentioning a NASDAQ fact.

Every poster or player may be part of the puppet show at any time, without even being aware of it. They are good at what they do, no doubt about it.

From the 'Zen of Shorting'

Lee--I believe I have located the relevant passage in the 'Zen of Shorting' regarding the innocents in the market.

The great master short Chu Mei Ash was speaking to a group of students and other listeners one day when he noticed an individual in the back of the group with a large bandage on his head. Curious, the master asked him what had happened.
"I have been studying a company that is claiming to have found a large vein of fine iron in Honshu province. I investigated and found the claims to be false. I took my proof to a large group of the companies investors just outside the market and one stuck me with a large rock. They then all proclaimed me an evil person seeking to drive down the value of their company and then they went in and bought more of it.
That is why I have come to you. I have heard you are wise and use the wisdom of the Lord Buddha in your teachings of the market."
"Have you the proof of the companies claims being false with you?" Chu Mei Ash asked.
"I do, would you like to see it?"
"Yes, very much." Said the master short. He studied the wounded man's documents at length and finally said, "I am pleased you have come to me with this for this company, Tanki Sunni is indeed a scam. Come the market is still open, let us go short it."
"But Master, the man said, "What of the people who are investing in it? What would the Buddha say of this."
"You need to reflect on the teachings and wisdom of the Lord Buddha," Chu Mei Ash said. "Did he not determine that the root of all suffering is ignorance? Your failure to heed this lesson is the cause of your wound, the Buddha himself said that enlightenment cannot taught but simply discovered, and only discovered by those willing to seek it. The investors in that company are as bonded to their ignorance as a sword to its hilt. When you sought to show them wisdom and enlighten them, they simply reaffirmed their commitment to ignorance and spent more gold which they will lose."
"But master by shorting the company will we not be seeking gain? The Buddha renounced worldly things."
"You must remember, Chu Mei Ash said, "We must seek to destroy our ego and the arrogance which is one of its products. The great Buddha if you recall was a prince raised in incredible wealth, all pleasures were his for the taking. He did indeed renounce these pleasures after partaking of them. It would be an act of great arrogance on our parts to think that we can proceed on the path to enlightenment even faster than the Lord Buddha. We take each step and not seek to run to nirvana. First we must humble ourselves and take the necessary step of seeking vast wealth and pleasure."
