The news is definitely terrible and totally unexpected. The magnitude of the shortfall approaches catastrophe; it would not be an understatement to call the Voodoo2 release a failure based on those numbers. Apparently the retail channel got stuffed but nobody ever actually bought the cards. We all saw store shelves lined with V2's and assumed it was moving like hotcakes. Bad assumption, eh? All I can say is put in your sell orders tonight and hope that you get a good position in the queue. It won't be pretty tomorrow. The only bright spot is the confirmation that several OEM's will be picking up Banshee. Not very comforting, though... Andy
