Lawrence: there is, I belive no case to be made against the points you raise. The bottom line is earnings and while in the past there have been creditable reasons for no earnings, Jordan and Reynolds have successfully managed to avoid earnings. I really do have concerns that Jordan and Reynolds are spent and need to retire and let broadcast people run the company. The board of directors needs a shake up also .
Oh ! I tracked down that article in the NYPOST - it is nothing just speculation that Turner still wants CBS ,but it says that if they combine the new divisions that CBS will save about $200 M a year.
