As a modern man concerned with today's problems, Maitreya has worked on many levels since 1977 to prepare humanity for His outward presence. From behind the scenes, the outpouring of His extraordinary energy has been the stimulus for dramatic changes on many fronts, including the fall of communism in the Soviet Union, the collapse of apartheid in South Africa, the rapprochement between East and West, the growing power of the people's voice, and a worldwide focus on preserving the environment. Since 1988 Maitreya has appeared miraculously throughout the world, mainly to orthodox and fundamental religious groups, presenting in the simplest terms the great spiritual laws governing our lives. And, through steadily increasing signs and spiritual manifestations, now widely reported in the media, He has touched the hearts of millions, preparing them for His imminent appearance. I didn't realize this guy caused all of that stuff to happen. Day of Declaration At the earliest possible moment, Maitreya will demonstrate His true identity. On the Day of Declaration, the international television networks will be linked together, and Maitreya will be invited to speak to the world. Everyone will see His face on television and will hear His words telepathically in their native language. Everyone, regardless of religious or philosophical orientations, will feel much, much more love than they have ever felt before. Everyone, including those who are not watching Him on television will have this experience. On this Day, humanity's shared experience of His profound love will cause hundreds of thousands of spontaneous healings to take place throughout the world. Remind me to apologize to everybody for being a doubter when this occurs. Maitreya has energized the planet and generated warmth so that enough food can be grown to meet the new demand for food grown naturally. Changes in weather patterns are already occurring and will continue as a result of the earth's warming. This guy is powerful. I better watch it! A NEW ENERGY PERVADES THE PLANET A new energy pervades the planet now. Scientifically, this is the energy which creates equilibrium between positive and negative currents. When positive and negative currents merge, light is produced. This energizes all life and creates harmony. Maitreya says that a decisive change has occurred in the rate of the earth's rotation. The speed of the earth's rotation has slowed. As a consequence, the forces surrounding the planet have been made to slow down. These are not blind forces but the effects of man's activities. This momentous event occurred at the end of July 1988, and will result in decisive changes, both in the short term and the long term, in the earth's atmosphere, in the air, on land and in the seas. The Earth slowed down in 1988? I missed that one. He needs to report his new energy form to a scientific journal to be examined, and leave his brain for biologists to examine. Q. Please explain the reason for disasters such as floods, earthquakes and the like. Must they happen before the good times arrive? A. Many of the disasters are the direct result of our wrong thought and action. For example, most of the earthquakes which occur do so as a result of underground nuclear tests which are carried out by several nations. An earthquake, not necessarily in the vicinity of the test, is the inevitable result of such activity. Floods maybe. Earthquakes of any size, no way.
