I was talking about the lie angle....that's the way they check it. Depending on the club, you may have an incorrect lie angle with a more upright stance. I have something on it clipped out of an article somewhere but at the moment I have to get my son off to school. But a smith checks the mark after you make the swing. If you have a fax machine I can fax the article once I find it.
