Sean,

The old dos version used to have a separate conversion utility that did that. Maybe it has to be called up as the Q+ util does. But I don't have a clue about the new one.

Do you like TC2000? I had lots of trouble with the dos program, but seems I have trouble with just about anything.

Sean,

Being a Q+ user and trying this program, I am really liking this program and the use of scans and looking at them in different ways is proving useful in 'trading' this market. I can't find a place where scans are posted like Q+ and hope someone begins or points me in that direction.

If you go tc2000.com and press FTP-Download, there is a program called DATACOM.ZIP which (somehow) converts TC->MetaStock. I am using WoW, so I found I didn't need this program.

I did notice that the MA's were all the same, but living with that until I learn more. When I enter too many (4+) MA scans, the program, boggs down. With 3 MA scans, it only take about 3/min to download and update all criteria. Only Histogram, I kinda find is BOP and overlay a MA over it... not the same, but sorta close.

From what I can see, if you need 'pin-point' ma's - this program is not (from what I have found) going to suit your needs. If you are looking at %chgs and ease of sorting stock into groups for following and making notes, this program is a beauty.

Let you or others post some scans that look useful for trading...
Rob

How do you get Metastock Data from TC2000.
The only way I know is to export to version 3 format then convert either with the old DOS utility or MS downloader. Better, is to use a program that can read TC2000 data directly, OmniTrader can, I think Technifilter can, there may be a few others.

How can you turn on a data window view to show you the values of the indicators??
As far as I know, you can't, it's not something I use.

Why when for example sort by eps can't it print the actual eps's for visual inscpection???
That's annoying, isn't it?

What are the W/L functions and how does one use them....
What's a W/L? WatchList? I've become hooked on TC2000 WatchLists. The ease of moving symbols back and forth between lists, adding or deleting symbols is great. Use the "F" key to Flag charts to move.

Anyone else notice their is a bug with MA's in personal crieria formulas. it uses the same formula for simple vs. exponential MA's.
Interesting, it looks like they only do SMA, despite the radio button for EMA.

Is there anyway to show MACD Histogram..
Don't see one.

Worden has improved the usability of the product substantially over the past quarter, I am hopeful that they will continue to do so.
