Hi Skeeter, what's up? Did you read the comments made by AMAT's CFO today? He said 1999 is imponderable for the semi equip. industry. He went on to say the industry would NEVER return to historical growth rates. Hard to understand his motives for saying that. He did say consolidation in the industry should be expected and AMAT is always looking to buy someone. With 6B in cash, I suppose they could afford one or two competitors. Bob suggests dollar cost averaging for AMAT now but with these comments perhaps the best strategy is to wait to see if AMAT goes lower. Jeff
