Dave...you missed some of the report or you didn't read it. In the Starr report they methodically layout where Clinton perjures himself in sworn testimony giving at different times...in particular, on the definition of his sexual relationship. Even the leading Democrats have, in public, told Clinton to give the "Technically Legal" claim a rest...that it won't fly.

Hey dave g,

You interested in an important lie? Try out "drastic cuts in medicare" from the last election. A minimal attempt at fiscal responsibility in a bloated program was spun to appear "mean spirited" and heartless by the party of meaningless words. Any success of that particular lie insured that no substantive debate will occur in the near future on that topic.

The "party of meaningless words" seems to be banking on an endless tolerance for lies.....how do they taste???

Dave - "You republicans . . .???

Please. Your defense of the indefensible has now stooped to labelling without regard to fact.

Diatribe and drivel are too easy. A more reasoned argument would be appreciated.

Dave:

But that is all it is is a one sided report!!

Yes. That's why he's called the prosecutor. He prosecutes.

He believes that oral sex is not the same as intercourse.

That may be. But the worst part of it is he expects us to believe it as well, and I don't think the majority of Americans agree with him on this count. Just ask your Significant Other if you can nip down to the redlight district for a quick BJ and watch the reaction.

...just because someone lies about something that they think is none of our business doesn't make him a liar about everything.

Dave, there's an old saying: Nobody believes a liar, even when he's telling the truth.

In what other serious issue has he been proved a liar.

Try these for starters:

"We will link China's trading privileges to its human rights record."
(August 13, 1992)

"For working families making less than $180,000 a year, there will be no income tax increase. I repeat: For working families making less than $180,000 a year, there will be no income tax increase."
(August 3, 1993)

And where are those $100 million worth of air conditioners and fans he promised in July? Seen one yet?

One more thing: I'm not a Republican. Don't be so quick to think that everyone who wants to see justice prevail belongs to the opposing party.
