Daniel, thank you for the lead on Dreyfuss and Stockedge. I didn't realize that Dreyfuss was so reasonable. Keep in mind that it was Dreyfus that couldn't execute my MARKET sell order on AMZN for 9 minutes and cost me 4 1/2 points! Some of my orders show up immediately; others don't seem to. If you are a position trader or long term investor, Dreyfus is great for low cost. If you are a daytrader and want total control over your own executions, I'd recommend paying the price (which I can't yet afford) to use an integrated trading system like Real Tick III or CyberTrader. Being able to place your order right between Bid/Ask and KNOW you are seeing the real market is invaluable.
