WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 - President Bill
Clinton will not be offering any more public
apologies for his affair with Monica Lewinsky
, a
White House official told NBC News Tuesday.
The news came as Clinton said it wouldn't be
his fault if Democrats don't fare well in the
November elections
, but the fact that a healthy
economy is making voters lazy. And it came as
the Senate was asked to vote whether Clinton
should pay the costs of the Lewinsky inquiry,
which Kenneth Starr's office said have topped
$4.4 million.

Wow! He is trying arrogance now. He seems to be intent on being thrown out by his own party. He should have changed his advisors a long time ago. Perhaps he could not, since his chief advisor is Hillary?

What next? A surprise resignation tomorrow?

But certainly Clinton is not helping himself and the Clinton factor remains acute for the next few days; and Asia, earnings are certainly not improving in the meantime.

Regards,

Phil
