I guess if one is a bear, a three-year bear market is the best place to be, but sometimes I wish it would go down faster and further. I only hope that the U.S. as per the past allows everything to get flushed out at the bottom instead of plugging up the septic tank the way the Japanese have done.

Wasn't it the Aztecs that canceled all debts and broke up all their furniture once a year?
