Well here you have it,

<< Eddy, Really its not a change of approach, I dont know enough about the Isreali's to side either way on that speculation.>>>>

K A Anderson,

You see now what I stated is true. I did not mean to say you changed your approach, but I changed my approach and gave the reasons for it.

So please accept my apologies for confusing you this time.

<<<On the other hand, we do (or did) a sizable amount of business with the Eastern Bloc countries, its only good business practices to know the under currents in that region, else you get burned.>>>>

That's why I treasure your comments on the subject. My next page will deal with that very scenario, namely business.

AND I will ask the question there. What are all the papers worth which bear directly or indirectly the signature of Boris Yeltsin?

Build upon solid ground of argument which will indicate to the alerted mind, that his signature is worth nothing and I repeat-Nothing. Provided you follow the particular line of thought I will try to sell you on.

And for good measure I ad here in "preview" that anyone who assumes that Moscow runs the show in the former Soviet Union will be in for a big surprise when you know what hits the fan.

Under currents of the region is a very good description embedded in your views. I like it and you will be pleased as well because in the next page I deal with a particular issue namely the heads in charge of those regions who exercise powerful control over those under currents.

When all the dust settles there will be winners and losers.
Depending with whom, in what region, you made your deal.
You stay or fall.

Until later,

ED

The KGB and French frogmen and the Lewdwinky affair notwithstanding, here's a WW3 threat:

Iran poised for action:

news.bbc.co.uk

At the very least, the USA cruise missile attack gives them a yellow light to stage an air raid on Afghanistan. It will be interesting to see how this escalates.

The Iranian perception is that the USA has been supporting Taleban via Pakistan in order establish a route for an oil pipeline.

This is worth a few 1000 Afghani lives isn't it? Now why would the USA back Taleban, the world's most regressive and repressive islamic fundamentalist army? This would be as stupid as supporting Saddam Hussein......... Doh!

I hope the USA stays way clear of this mess. It will be a lose/lose situation whatever they do.
