I don't think investors are worried about whether this concept will be a hit. To me it's the money to pay for all this is what I'm worried about. What's it going to cost us in terms of future stock price (dilution). A month ago PR's were flying trying to get this stock price above $2. IMO we were about to have an offering for a few million shares to raise capital. Now at this depressed price we'd probably have to release 3 times the shares and are on standby. Or, we may have promised Volpak, Sweet Ripe, Cliffstar and maybe others a piece of our future which could translate into TCBG just being a so-so company for stock appreciation. With an offering in jeopardy maybe we're waiting for Greenspan to lower discount 1/2 to go for a loan.
It's all guessing as to how this will all play out without any legal filings to review.
