**OT** I can't get either cable or DSL and only get about 33.6k out of my 56k V90 modems. The only way I can get anything better at this point is to use two modems with software to make them work together as one inet connection - a sorry state of technology development in a suburban area of Seattle. You are very fortunate but not indicative of the World Wide Wait that most people will continue to face for some time. The estimates for broad-band availability is very limited through the next few years despite all the promise and the hype. I think the govrt. should force the REBOCS to open upen up their lines to development by outside companies who will more agressively build out ADSL and other advanced networks. That monopoly continues to hobble the country.
