Cognicase Awarded Major Contract by District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1998--COGNICASE Inc. (NASDAQ:COGIF - news; TSE:COG. - news), announces that it has been awarded a contract for the development and implementation of a Year 2000 solution for the automated tax systems of the District of Columbia's Office of Tax and Revenue. The contract is valued at over U.S.$2.0 million. ''This contract involves assessment, remediation, testing and implementation for three primary mainframe tax applications.
