gary: we're misunderstanding each other. i only said that starr has the obligation to deliver to congress/judiciary committee. what congress does with it is up to congress. as i recall there were well less than 100 votes against the release to the public. i agree with you that the "right to know" ain't all it's cracked up to be and that, frankly, i don't think the public has a right to know. my only point was not to blame starr for it, which, of course, you didn't say but i couldn't tell from your post whether you did or didn't. so we'll both blame congress, which, according to mark twain, is america's only native criminal class. regards
