gary: we're misunderstanding each other. i only said that starr has the obligation to deliver to congress/judiciary committee. what congress does with it is up to congress. as i recall there were well less than 100 votes against the release to the public. i agree with you that the "right to know" ain't all it's cracked up to be and that, frankly, i don't think the public has a right to know. my only point was not to blame starr for it, which, of course, you didn't say but i couldn't tell from your post whether you did or didn't.

so we'll both blame congress, which, according to mark twain, is america's only native criminal class. regards

I'm thinking about buying some CSCO LEAPS, so am looking for the CSCO thread but can't seem to find it. This seems to be the Clinton scandal thread. Does anyone know if the SI database has the thread titles and messages mixed up? Can anyone help?
