O.T. Unfortunately the majority of people don't care unless it hits them in the almighty pocketbook. Look what happened to George Busch when the opponents rubbed the "Read my lips, no new taxes" in his face after he was backed in the corner by a democratic congress. I suppose he could've done what Clinton did and shut down the government but that's something only a self-centered egotist would do. If that's not proof enough look at Dan Rostenkowski's <sp?> actions and how many of his constiguents laughed about what he did. They acknowledged he was a crook but were perfectly happy with him because he took care of them first.

As for the garbage of his popularity, you sure can't prove it by the people I've discussed this with. Granted, everyone is tired of it but the from the people I've met the numbers are almost 3 to 1 to get him out of there. Somebody refresh my memory...wasn't it the electoral college that put him in office with only 35% (approx) of the popular vote? How does that "wash" with the theory that the polls should be honored and he should be allowed to stay in office?

Like a CEO..integrity counts..BIG TIME.

Pleased he was caught. My point is: whether or not I'm bothered has nothing to do with whether he should be forced to resign.
