Trade group the Software Publishers Association and the Information Industry Association are discussing a merger, CNET News.com has learned. Two years ago, the SPA began a push to add more content-based software firms, including Internet publishers, based on a belief that the once-distinct categories of content and applications are converging. A marriage with the online publishers' group would be consistent with that strategy. news.com Not sure if this applies to Softquad International in the future but it might at present. Will there be any benefit here for Softquad Inc., that you can explain.Would it make acquiring Softquad Inc. desirable? The above info made me think of Banta.
