Re: "No surprises" + a new, perhaps more "businesslike" Clinton thread:

Hope your right about a "sooner rather than later" rate cut. My fear right now is that the market could be built up for a let down (if he doesn't immediately cut a quarter point).

O.K. Dr. Greenshades, its your move...

One way or another, it might be prudent to clarify the Fed's position - now! The market is in no mood for surprises (or letdowns). No Greenspeak or Clinton doublespeak (had to get in 1 more zinger). How about plain English - since you Dr. started the latest rate cut speculation?

And now a new SI thread - to try to discuss the potential impact of the Clinton situation on investments. An interesting(IMHO) post below:

SI thread: Impact of the Clinton scandal on our investments

P.S. - Tell Lars to call the good Dr. & turn on that charm
Show me the money - honey!

Acampora: Or maybe we could use our interpreter to translate Acampora who said yesterday regarding the upcoming predicted rally:

''This near-term rally should be used as a time to trade, invest and even to lighten up.''

So the way I figure it, this means we should all use the rally to buy (invest), sell (lighten up) and trade. I bet everyone in the aggregate will follow this sound advice to one degree or another. That is my prediction. Take it to the bank.
