Mark and the thread: Regarding BLAST and smart antennas, note that CSCO purchased today Clarity Wireless, which is a smart antenna company which uses space-time signal processing to increase link capacity. Here is the announcement: biz.yahoo.com The announcement mentions P-P and P-MP products, which surprised me since I did not know Clarity was in the P-MP business. The purchase price of $157M looks high for an outfit with 39 employees, particularly if one compares it with the price tag the market is putting right now on PCMS which appears to be bottoming out at last (my last post may have been slightly too bleak, but I would still advise caution).
