They're probably letting all the dead wood go. What I don't understand is why they didn't opt of early retirement packages. Given LU's recent rise and all the old-timers I would think they could get to th 4% in a less visible fashion.

I don't think this event is signficant to Cisco nor do I think Cisco see's this as a indicator of anything other than LU trying to compete. Still 4% not a stong indicator of much. IMO
