jay ... thanks :o) for input

NCSP

took a position this a.m. at 21 7/16 ... not for a day trade ... but for a position trade

so, if you see support on intra day chart at 20 7/8 ... maybe a good place to enter a stop loss?

>>>BWDIK, ??

Bought NSCP this morning 21 5/8 at 10:20 -- we'll see what happens. I love the gap strategy in concept but too often it seems you end up buying at the day's high!

Jay,

Wasn't there a component to the gap strategy that takes volume into account also? Looks to me like NSCP is at about 1/10 of its daily volume around noon. I thought that to use the gap strategy, the stock should be projecting at least double its daily volume. Does that mean that at 10:30 a stock should have traded about 1/3 of its daily volume to be considered for the strategy? Any comments anyone, Last?
