puzzle me this: why is the RR so adamant to save every child? Have you seen the havoc in medical costs, lowering of I.Q. in the schools, unwanted crack babies..... just so it's on the record, take a note that you asked about abortion. Okay so I'll tell you: I'm happy to be alive. I was the 6th child. I have had three incidences requiring a Doctor's visit in my life, varying from a simple gall stone to having pebbles picked out of my face (after bicycling face-first into the back of a truck) to an construction accident where I lost sight in one eye (State Industrial Insurance paid that one). What else..oh yes, I.Q. I finished High School on the Honor Roll, and completed college with 3.3 GPA. My parents never smoked crack. Are you saying that the only babies aborted have crack-addicted parents? Are you happy to be alive, cc rogers? have you for the most part enjoyed your life? Why would you callously decide that someone else isn't worth being born? Do you agree that babies in the womb should have no legal protection up until they are brought into the world? A baby which has a beating heart and brainwaves, kicking inside its mother, can be legally aborted right up until the moment of birth, for any reason. The most common reason for partial birth abortions, according to a Doctor who performed over 1,000 of them in the State of Ohio? Convenience of the Mother. In other words, she simply changed her mind, and decided she didn't want to raise a child. I defend the rights of the most powerless group in our society, that group which has no legal protection against deadly assault: The child in the womb. Thank God my mother knew that aborting a child was an incredibly cruel act, and decided to bring me alive into the world. Three more came after me.
