You could trust both estimates, but I rather believe the latter one.

Personally I haven't made up my mind.

I think iMac sales for this quarter are in the 200-450K range. Where exactly I have yet to determine.

Phil Gavin Young's web site has his AAPL sales est. as of 9/13

On AAPL's price, Greenspan/Rubin speak tomorrow to the House Banking Comm. and its triple witching Friday,so buy/sell accordingly !

Gavin thinks 4Q iMAC sales could reach 360,000 orders's:

Phil his later email thinks the iMAC has a 20% margin:

" I do wonder what the total gross margin % will be. Maybe the iMac will pull the GM% below 20%. I also wonder how to factor in the $100 million advertising budget - is it in addition to the existing advertising budget, or merely a reallocation of advertising dollars? ... "
