Boy, they really have suspended Jack for quite awhile. Must have been for something on another thread, because he sure didn't do anything wrong on this one.
He is our good luck charm - If I remember right, the last time he came off a suspension the stock took off.

Well, Wayne. You're my man. You're the new guru of NYRR. You call NYRR every Monday morning from now on and I'll foot the bill. You're the winner. You saw it coming, and it came. I think Jack has real competition here. (You lurking, Jack? Send us a signal.)

What does it mean? This is a break through. A break out. A new philosophy. The ice is broken. They are no longer ashamed to admit in print they are losing money because it is less money than last year. That is the first step to having the courage to release audited figures that may very well show a loss. I view this as a positive step in the maturing of NYRR. (It's like telling your wife you lost a little money in VIAS - - - and then telling her the real truth when you produce the candy and flowers.)

However, they still need more new customers. There is only a finite number of coca beans in the world.

Notice the stock started rising LAST Tuesday. That means someone knew about the press release even before Wayne did. (Or, was Wayne buying like crazy and didn't tell us 'till later? Fess up Wayne. I'm sending Big Ken to Vancouver.) Anyway, that was interesting. "Sell on the news" is certainly true. Note the opening gap up on the news and the slide for the rest of the day.

As I understand the situation the States of NJ and NY and NYC have endorsed NYRR getting some of the grant money. Congress passed the bill. The money is on the way. But, what procedures and steps must be followed to get it delivered? This is probably a question for the Mayor's Office to answer.
